Buffalo in Bloom Mission Statement

Buffalo in Bloom‘s mission is to promote gardening throughout the City of Buffalo all Summer long by:

• Recognizing and celebrating the efforts of city residents, businesses and institutions that beautify their streetscape with blooming gardens that can be enjoyed by anyone who walks or rides on our city streets;

• Offering to all city residents gardening classes that promote and expand gardening knowledge and skills;

• Maintaining a website that provides digital images of the thousands of recognized “Bloomed” gardens throughout the city that can be enjoyed even in the colder months;

• Maintaining the Gardens at Niagara Square, City Hall’s front yard, as a visible example of our community involvement.

Since 1995 Buffalo in Bloom has been dedicated to making the entire City of Buffalo the “World’s Largest Flower Arrangement”.
